SASO has announced the final timeframes for the change from SASO to SABER.
On January 1st 2020 SASO (Saudi Arabian Standards Organization) made the following announcement:
The conformity assessment bodies shall cease to register the COC as of 15-01-2020.
Any shipment orders that are not issued by Saber will be discontinued as of 15-02-2020.
Except for those that have a COC registered can enter before 15-01-2020.

|Technical Regulation for Adhesive Materials, Tapes, Glue and Related Products||15th January 2020|
|Technical Regulation for Fire Fighting Equipments and Materials||15th January 2020|
|Technical Regulation for Paper and Related Products||15th January 2020|
|Technical Regulation for Machinery Safety Part 1: Portable and Oriented Machines||15th January 2020|
|Gulf Technical Regulation for Tyres||15th January 2020|

All other products listed as non-Regulated SASO certification can still be issued up until February 15th 2020. Thereafter that no further SASO certificates will be issued, all products have to be certified through SABER.
